¶ Create and Migrate Websites
This is a helpful guide for creating websites and migrating websites for internal processes.
¶ Login to Web Server
Navigate to web server address (ex: Web05) and log in.
¶ Create a Domain
To create a domain, click add web domain and then fill in the domain name and save.
¶ Configure the Domain
Select the domain to configure.
Enable domain redirections to the @/root domain.
Configure SSL by enabling it and generating a Self Sign Certificate. Also enable HTTPS redirection.
Now install the website using the “Quick Install App” button.
¶ How to Migrate a Website
First step is to ensure the new host has the domain configured.
¶ Login to the Old Website
Navigate to login page of existing website.
¶ Use Backup Plugin
Download backup plugin.
Perform backup.
¶ Edit Host File
Open the host file as an admin in terminal.
Add the IP address for the new website.
¶ Upload Backup
In the web host, go to file manager and locate the backup location then upload the file.
¶ Install In House Modification
Get modification here. Be sure to rename it to backups.min.js
¶ Restore backup
Click restore and proceed
¶ Fix permalinks
Set permalinks to post name.
